Mattress Returns Policy
We're so confident that our mattresses will provide you with a great night's sleep that we offer a 1 year guarantee on all our mattresses. In addition to this we also offer a 10 year core guarantee on the Breasley Uno mattress collection.
The Breasley Uno Mattress and The Mattress Collection guarantees are both provided under the following terms:
Persons covered: The Guarantee extends to the first purchaser of any mattress as indicated on the official receipt and is valid from the date of initial purchase for 1 year on all mattresses and 10 years (inclusive of the initial 1 year guarantee) on the mattress core for Breasley Uno mattresses only. The Guarantee is not transferable. Please retain a copy of your receipt as proof of purchase.
Products covered: All products bought from our Mattress Collection or Breasley Uno collection come with a 1 year guarantee, this covers the mattress materials and workmanship for that period. The 10 year mattress core guarantee extends only to the Breasley Uno mattresses purchased directly from us through our site or call centre, provided that the items are purchased and used within the United Kingdom.
Terms of Guarantee:
This Guarantee does not cover the following:
a) conditions arising as a result of wear and tear, negligence, wilful damage or misuse by you;
b) any comfort preference or normal increase in the softness of the foam and materials.
The Guarantee is automatically invalidated in the following circumstances:
a) if the mattress has been used in a manner incompatible with its intended design, or in breach of our written or oral instructions regarding its storage, assembly or use (including the instructions contained in our FAQs), for example if you use the mattress on an unsuitable base.
b) if the mattress has been repaired or altered by someone other than Furnish Your Home without prior consent.
c) if the mattress has been soiled or rendered unhygienic, including as a result of tears, burns, cuts, stains or liquid damage by you.
d) if you fail to comply with any of the procedures set forth below in the Guarantee Claim Process.
Guarantee Claim Process: To make a claim under the Guarantee, you must follow the following procedure:
1) Notify us in writing of the defect within reasonable time after you discover the defect
2) Provide us with a copy of the receipt as proof of the original date of purchase
3) Return the whole mattress to us, following our acceptance of your claim and confirmation of the return logistics. You will be responsible for the payment of any return fees, please refer to our return fees table for more information on our return costs. You will, however, not be liable for the costs of us delivering you your replacement mattress.
Our commitment to you:
In the event of a defect that wasn’t incurred by any of the terms listed under Terms of Guarantee as listed above, we will provide you with a repaired or replacement mattress within 90 days of receiving your original mattress.
Nothing in this clause will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. For further information about your statutory rights contact your local authority Trading Standards Department or Citizens' Advice Bureau. We do not in any way exclude or limit our liability for loss or damage resulting from the negligence of the manufacturer or distributor of the mattresses.
